Making the best of any situation
Hi, I'm Alex. If you are struggling with school/peers, healthy relationships, finding balance, accepting change (even positive change), feeling like yourself, processing trauma, or some combination of these issues. I work with clients to figure out what they may need help with, where they would like to go, and I do my best to help them get there.
I have experience using several interventions and models to create the best fit for clients. I use a collaborative and supportive approach that helps people engage and participate in their life in manageable ways.
Primarily my experience is with women and children, ages 4 to 40, and families. However, I welcome and look forward to clients outside of those parameters. I have over ten years of experience in community mental health before making this move to private practice at Best Effort Therapy.
